THE ANGEL LADY

In the quiet solitude of her home, a grieving woman finds solace in an unexpected outlet – carving. Haunted by the profound loss of her beloved husband, she seeks refuge in the rhythmic motion of chisel against wood, each strike a cathartic release for the pain that weighs heavy on her heart.

On her first Christmas without him, she carves a figure of her late husband with angel wings and hangs it on her tree so that she can continue to feel close to him.  When others see the ornament they plead with her to carve similar ornaments for them of their own deceased loved ones and she eventually becomes known simply as ‘The Angel Lady.”
